Support Veterans and the Old Glory Relay Race across America
October 10, 2015
Imagine teams of runners carrying the American flag across the length of the country, from San Francisco to Washington DC. It’s called the Old Glory Relay 2015, and it’s currently underway. Attorney Karl Truman is proud to participate in the Louisville-to-Frankfurt 50 mile stretch on October 29, as part of Team Red, White & Blue.
Team Red, White & Blue is proud to be running on behalf of Veterans across the US. The team is raising money (www.crowdrise.com/oct29-rwb/fundraiser/karltruman) to help support Veterans through athletic events.

The race began in San Francisco on September 11. Fifty-nine running teams are carrying a single American flag on this 3,540-mile relay race to the nation’s capitol on November 8. Runners have traversed high mountain passes, high deserts, and seen all manner of changing, autumnal leaves so far in the race, which will be heading into the plains in the next few days.
This is the second annual Old Glory Relay Race. Part of the purpose of the race is to show the “faces of old glory,” by sharing photos using #OldGloryRelay. To learn more and to donate or register, please visit www.teamrwb.org/old-glory-relay.
Old Glory WAVES provide you with a means of participating in the event, even if you aren’t running. On October 30, the Lexington WAVE will be held at the Lexington VA Medical Center. Join your community, close the gap between military and civilians, and meet members of Team RWB.
